StPr- & Elitemare Royal Princess

Books would have to be written to list the successes of Royal Princess' family. Here is the mini version:
Five successful dressage horses are related to Royal Princess as direct sires: Rohdiamant, Rubinstein, Donnerhall, Donnerwetter and Pik Bube I.

Each and every one of these horses is a hero in the history of German horse breeding and it is quite rare to find all that in one mare such as Royal Princess.

Princess' dam, the State Premium Mare Deuxieme comes from a long line of Oldenburger and hannoveranian mares that goes back over 200 years.
Deuxieme, a branded Hannoverian was the first daughter from Donnerhall who received the title "State Premium Mare" in Hannover.

Deuxieme herself completed her Mare Performance Test with an overall score of 8.17 and an index score of 9.0 in each of three gaits - walk, trot and canter.
She was the best 3 year old at the Hannoverian Championship under saddle and gave birth to 9 foals in 9 breeding seasons. In addition to one Argument-foal she got three foals from Rubinstein and five from Rohdiamant.

Each and every one of her children made their own success in the world either as approved stallion (Rühmann), State Premium Mare (StPr Rot Gold, StPr Partitur, StPr Royal Princess), Association Premium Mare (VPr Poesie) and/or accepted as "Elite Horses" at the Vechtaer and Verdener auctions (Royal Thunder, Partitur, Rot Gold).

In addition, StPr Rot Gold completed her Mare Performance Test as winner-mare with the highest overall score.
VPr Poesie, who now lives in California received a score of 10 in walk and a 9 in trot and canter in her Mare Performance Test in Vechta.

In his first year Rühmann already fathered 4 children who were qualified for the German Championship (Bundeschampionat) in Warendorf.

One of Royal Princess' last full-brothers, called Rolling Stone, (now three years old) is residing with the Kluge Family in Grossenmeer waiting for his chance to show his successful brothers and sisters what he can do.

In May of 2001 Royal Princess completed her Mare Performance Test in Vechta at the age of 3 years and 10 days assisted by her trainer Viola Abrahams. She received scores between 7.0 and 8.0 in gaits. What should be emphasized here is her outstanding walk for which she always received a score of 8.0. She shined in free jumping with a score of 7.5 although her background is actually in dressage.

Two weeks later she received the title "State Premium Candidate" for her outstanding qualities at the Elite Mare Show in Rastede.

In the months that followed Royal Princess was introduced 4 times in basic level competitions for youngsters. Although her competitors included many approved stallions, she won 2nd and 3rd place each twice.

She consistently scored 7.5 to 8.0 in gaits and 8.5 for type and quality of conformation.

Having successfully presented her as a three year old in no less than four material tests, we decided to put her into breeding in 2002.
Already in her first heat she took from Sandro Hit. On 25 December 2002 she gave birth to a breathtakingly beautiful black stallion, which we named, of course, “Santa Claus”: with his date of birth there was really no other choice.
He had met all our expectations, since he turned out the perfect combination of the best qualities from both, Royal Princess and Sandro Hit: sophisticated and elegant, relaxed, always uphill and gifted with smooth and breathtaking movement.
Only a few days after his birth a new owner was found. He also is the proud owner of an Olympics and World Championship contestant, and the new owner is very pleased and proud about his latest acquisition. So we may well predict that Santa Claus’ future will involve breeding as well as top level sports.
Due to the outstanding quality of the little stallion we decided to mate Royal princess once again with Sandro Hit. Again, she took immediately in the first heat, and on December 19 2003 she presented us with a little “pearl à “Pailola”. Just like her full brother she also fulfilled all of our expectations – she is pretty as a picture, very correct, and will turn out a dark tan, with an admirable character, and coming up to Santa Claus standards of movement in any respect.
Now that we had our coveted filly from this combination, we had Royal Princess bred to the Westphalian champion stallion "Fidertanz". At the license inspection for stallions he had already managed to impress us.
We are keen on seeing the outcome of this combination of Oldenburg-Westphalian bloodlines, studded with several excellent prize stallions and mares.
On January 25th 2006, Paolina was born. She is a totally different type than her half siblings Sandro Hit, a colourful chestnut, an athletic type and featuring a great movement potential - Here Fidermark strongly prevailed.
Paolina is still in our possession, since we want to wait and see how Pailola (former Royal Pearl) in 2007 presents herself during the mare shows, mare assessment exams and during several tournaments. Should she present herself well she will surely strengthen our mares and Paolina will possibly be sold.
In the beginning of January 2007, Royal Princess of state champion and motion talent Quaterback was inseminated. Like always, she took during her first estrus.

On November, 28th she gave birth to a phenomenal chesnut beauty from Quaterback. Three outstanding gaits, long leggy, high noble -> what a filly.

We sold her to Linda and Mirja to Finland.

Their plans with Pajala are absolutely the ideas and dreams we had:

they will raise her here in Germany for the coming 3 years until she will compete at the mare shows and the mare performance test in 2011.

Then she will go to Helsinki to present our breed and Royal Princess' successful motherline over there.
